the statement "very good condition" or "good condition" applies to the disc and its jacket; for the disc, it means either of the following standards:
Near Mint to Very Good+ (NM to VG+) / Very good = slight traces of usage, but the listening is absolutely perfect
Very Good+ to Very Good (VG+ to VG) / Good = traces of usage, but the listening is nearly perfect
