Porcelain of the first quarter of XXth century, manufactured in Saxony (Germany) before 1923.
 The knob can be unscrewed to replace the blotting paper (see photo).
 The famous brand of the Meissen manufactory, two crossed swords, is visible on the bottom.
 This article is in perfect condition, apart from a tiny 1 mm chipping in a corner (see picture 2, bottom corner).
