Jeanne-Louise-Henriette Campan, born Henriette Genet on 2 October 1752 in Paris and died on 16 March 1822 in Mantes, was a French educator, best known for her presence at the French court for more than two decades, especially with the dauphine, the future queen Marie-Antoinette.
The 3 volumes are entitled ‘Mémoires sur la vie privée de Marie-Antoinette, reine de France et de Navarre; suivis de souvenirs et anecdotes historiques sur les règnes de Louis XIV, Louis XV et Louis XVI’. Cover and spine in cardboard.
